For a long time, Deadpool and Wolverine coming together have been hailed as a “Dynamic Duo.” However, in a recent cover for Entertainment Weekly, Ryan Reynolds has made it clear that they are a “Dysfunctional Duo” instead. The 47-year-old recently shared a short clip on Instagram where Deadpool seemed to sketch a picture of himself with Wolverine for Entertainment Weekly, captioning it, "Not what I meant by 'cover me'."

Entertainment Weekly’s latest issue explains how the upcoming Shawn Levy-directed movie will pave the way for Marvel's narrative further. This will also directly connect to The Avengers’ next installment. And with all the cameos set to appear in Deadpool & Wolverine, it is safe to say that a lot of what MCU has to offer will be unveiled on July 26. While some of the cameos have been confirmed to be reprising the MCU family members, Reynolds might even have featured his own family, Blake Lively, in the movie.

MyTimeToShineHello on X, a page known for its insights into Hollywood's inner workings, shared its take on the rumor of Blake Lively playing Lady Deadpool in the upcoming movie, Deadpool & Wolverine. Recently, this rumor gained more traction after a special screening of the movie in Shanghai, China, where 30-40 minutes of the film were shown. Following the screening, many fans noted that Lady Deadpool’s voice in the movie sounded very much like Blake Lively's, although her face was not visible to confirm.

MyTimeToShineHello, however, clarified on X that “the Lady Deadpool footage was 5 seconds long and no voice was heard so that's not true”. Whether or not the dream of seeing Blake Lively and Ryan Reynolds together on screen as Deadpool and Lady Deadpool comes true, the cameo-packed Deadpool & Wolverine is definitely going to open doors to the MCU's extensive narrative.
