Since the very beginning, the couple listened to their hearts and broke a hefty set of royal rules even before getting married. They did not step off this bandwagon through their royal years or even after it. But it seems that just because their views on exiting the royal family in Britain aligned does not mean they always have the same interests. Especially when it comes to their brand.

The Sussexes made waves for the first time in a while with their public appearance as they used the opportunity to show support to the Invictus Games participants as a way to show off their chemistry. While the couple barely left each other’s side during the game, it seems they will choose different paths in the future.

Will Meghan Markle and Prince Harry go separate ways post-Invictus Games?

The Duke and Duchess of Sussex were unabashed in their display of love during the Invictus Games. Not only did this lead to swoon-worthy moments, but also debunked divorce rumors that were spreading like wildfire. But while the divorce rumors may have been debunked, the claims of diverging opinions still remain on board. As per Express’ record of royal expert, Emily Andrews’ statement to the Woman Magazine, Meghan Markle wants to “launch her global brand,” while Prince Harry wants to do anything but that.

Ever since Markle stepped into the royal family and managed to reignite the global intrigue that it was once associated with, it was clear that she was destined to do great things. Therefore, as the clock is soon to strike three years since her royal exit, it is understandable that she wants to ditch the Duchess image and do greater things on a global scale.

With the kerfuffle that has unfolded, it seems that these greater things might come at the cost of her peaceful Montecito life with her husband, who allegedly does not want to go big.

The Duke and Duchess are divided over their future

It has been pointed out on various occasions that Prince Harry and Meghan Markle are very different individuals coming from vastly different upbringings. While it is true that they differ, looking at the Harry & Meghan docuseries and the Spare memoir, it seems that their views post Megxit are not very different. However, as per Andrews’ statements, Markle and Prince Harry want different things after the royal chaos. The former wants to go big while the latter literally wants to go home.

The Spare author wants a break from the media frenzy and simply spends time with children at home. But if that is the case, the Duke has not been doing much to protect his peace. In fact, Prince Harry has been putting himself more in the spotlight than Markle, who before the Invictus Games could barely be spotted. The difference in Sussexes’ opinions, unlike most couples, can lead to the making or breaking of a global brand.
