A philosopher once said that change is the only constant. And the life of the royally estranged couple, Prince Harry and Meghan Markle, has been proof of constant change. Not only Markle but also the Duke met with new and rare changes that a numbered few might have experienced. The Prince shifted his base from the United Kingdom to the Hollywood state of California. A big change not just for Prince Harry but also for his loyal courtiers who served him for years.

While many have testified to how the Duke of Sussex with a glimpse of him from their screens as proof, the debate has not gotten some insider insight.

The Duke has foregone his old habits

In a surprising revelation to Spin Genie as reported by The News, the King’s butler told how the Duke had gone “radio silent.” Grant Harrold added more facts to support his claim, talking about the Duke’s friends. He claimed that the Duke’s friends “don’t hear from him at all now.” Moreover, the Prince did not attend his alleged best friend Jack Pal’s wedding. 

In more reminiscing about the good old times, Harrold talked about the tight relationship that the Royal family’s sons shared. Both the Heart of Invictus producer and his elder brother Prince William were inseparable while it lasted. Not only were they extremely sociable but also laced with fun banters and practical jokes. The royal employee missed seeing the two brothers hang out together and not be “walking on eggshells.”

It seems however, that distance and time are the most futile among the things that are separating Prince Harry from his old life. However, there may be hope.

The olive branch is growing between Prince Harry and King Charles

The Dusseldorf journey that the royal couple will embark on for the Invictus Games might mark the success of Archewell Productions’ Heart of Invictus, but also a rekindled connection. The Prince was reportedly going to make a stop in London, which would coincide with King Charles’ presence. The King would return from Balmoral and stay for a bit, after embarking on the postponed trip to France. This would mark the first personal meeting after the release of the memoir, Spare.

The Duke of Sussex was not the only one extending an olive branch. King Charles revealed the hope to rekindle their father-son relationship not long ago. If all goes well, we could see a young Prince Archie celebrate his grandfather’s birthday!
