Meghan Markle might have left her acting career behind to become Prince Harry’s wife. But now it looks like the star may be making her way back to the world of acting after signing with WME earlier in the year. Meanwhile, the Duchess of Sussex has now sparked the speculation that she might be the inspiration for a character in Disney’s upcoming film, Wish. In fact, fans of the former actress are “convinced” that the character is based on her.

From being a real-life Duchess to maybe having a Disney princess shaped after her, the 42-year-old sure has a lot of reasons to be in the spotlight this time. Her fans claim that the star is the reason behind the look of Disney’s latest Princess Asha, as they share similar features and the resemblance truly is a bit uncanny. But with no confirmation of the situation, fans are only guessing at this point.

Although some social media users did not agree with the post, others could evidently see the similarities in the face, eyes, and even the freckles that the two shared. While it could be true that Meghan Markle is the inspiration behind the character, until fans receive some confirmation, everything is just a speculation at the moment.

While the photos may have shown Meghan Markle and Princess Asha together, one thing was evident. The animated character did bear a remarkable resemblance to the Duchess. In fact, the character really did share Markle’s freckles, her eyes, and more. Though the resemblance could come from the fact that this is one of Disney’s first ethnic characters, fans have their own thoughts.

Looking at the similarity between the two, a social media user also demanded royalty for the Duchess of Sussex.

Most Markle fans are sure that the character is inspired by the actress. Given that Markle signed a deal with Disney for a voiceover back in 2020, it is quite possible that the star could have had more deals or plans in progress. With the film releasing on November 22, fans would not have to wait for long to make up their minds.
