While some viewers may have missed it, there is no doubt that all Friends fans immediately caught on. In the NBC series, Rudd played the partner of Lisa Kudrow’s Phoebe Buffay. Although this unexpected easter egg sent fans on a nostalgic trip, it was not the only easter egg in the episode.

In the final episode of season 3, fans of Only Murders in the Building finally got to see the murder of Ben Glenroy be brought to justice. With Selena Gomez’s Mabel, Steve Martins’ Charles, and Martin Short’s Oliver not being seen as the killers, the hunt for the killer was wide open. While fans had various theories about who it could be, most of them ended up being wrong as they thought it was Donna DeMeo.
