Producer and writer of the show, Susan Borowitz noted that some rappers did not like this transition as reported by Cheat Sheet.

She revealed that they were happy to see how young kids were inspired by this sitcom. The influence that Smith’s character created deeply impacted the households in America. On the other hand, some musicians were angry and blamed the Aladdin star for spoiling their culture for the “white-class audience”.

Well, it was just a thing of the past which settled down with time, and now all his peers truly adore him for his achievements. Meanwhile, fans are currently focused on whether the 50th anniversary of hip-hop will reunite him with his buddy DJ Jazzy Jeff. Considering this duo has made some of the most significant contributions to this hip-hop world.

More than twenty years have passed since we heard any collaborative music created by Will Smith and his beloved friend. The pair was majorly active at the end of the 90s. Together, they have done things that were only a dream for their community at one time. They were the first group to take home the Grammy Award for Best Rap Performance in 1989. Not to forget, they have sold more than  5.5 million albums in the US in their early years of partnership.

Even now, when they do not make music, they have remained close friends and claimed they will never part ways. The biggest proof of this oath is their performance in September 2019.
