Did You Know Meghan Markle Shares Her Birthday With Another Prominent Royal of Buckingham?
Given the trenchant controversies that have engulfed the royal family and its hanging-by-the-thread relationships over the last few years, it is only natural that Buckingham would not be celebrating the birthday of the Duchess of Sussex, Meghan Markle, with any pomp and show. For the sake of it, they kept their royal courtesies while wishing the Duchess a couple of years, even after the split. The one-liners have now been reduced to zero. Following the bombshell Netflix docuseries, Buckingham has seemingly restrained its ties with the estranged royal. However, this day brings in more upsetting memories for the Windsors.
As the Duchess of Sussex celebrates turning 42 with her beloved husband, the Palace mourns in brutal flashbacks of a royal no more present amongst themselves. Meghan Markle happens to share her birthday with the late Queen mother, Queen Elizabeth, who was born on the same day as Markle in the year 1900.

The day thus turns bitter for the royals in the UK. Neither can they celebrate the birthday of a royal present, nor do they have the one amongst themselves that they could have wished for. King Charles, especially who could be said to be the closest royal to Markle after Prince Harry, also shared a close bond with his grandmother. Hello! even reports that even after Queen Mother passed away, he kept her rooms exactly as they are in his London home, Clarence House.
Returning to Markle, the senior members kept pouring in wishes for the Duchess until severed ties stopped them from continuing.
The royal family and their wishes for Meghan Markle on her birthday
Although it did not vary much in terms of words, the Windsors made it a point to help make me Duchess’ day a bit more special. Long before the infamous Megxit sent shockwaves around the world, and even a couple of years post that, the seniors of Buckingham did take to their social media platforms to wish for the Duchess.
Meghan Markle marked her first birthday as a royal in the year 2018. However, the celebrations that year saw no daylight as the Sussexes opted to attend the wedding ceremony of one of their closest royal pals. Apart from that, Kensington Palace representing Prince William and Kate Middleton, Clarence House for Prince Charles and Duchess Camilla, and the Royal Family for the Sovereign of the UK uploaded heartwarming pictures of the Duchess to wish her all returns of the day.

This year, however, there were no signs of a single post from any of the royals from Buckingham.
