Meghan Markle, in a 2017 interview with Glamour, shared a list of 10 women who had changed her life. While there were nine other names on the list, Markle singled out Julia Roberts for inspiring what she considered the best compliment she had ever received. She recalled a time when she was younger and someone told her she looked like Julia Roberts. Markle called it, “the best compliment of all time.” 

Markle also mentioned that Roberts was the first person she ever saw on screen, and that was when the spark for a career in entertainment really lit up for her. When PEOPLE told Roberts about Markle’s heartfelt admission at the premiere of Ben Is Back, the actress simply said, “I am just going to be floating on that all night”. That said, even though Markle and Roberts have not exactly crossed paths in media history, when it comes to hair care, they are definitely on the same page.
