Jennifer Aniston might be famous for playing Rachel Green in Friends, but the actress has done several blockbuster features. Her recent big-screen project was the sequel to the Netflix film Murder Mystery. In this film, the actress seamlessly transitioned from her comedic roots to a complex investigator, haunted by both the pursuit of justice and personal demons. But it was her meaningful action towards another beloved talent that made the movie a top-notch package.

In this whirlwind of adventure, Jennifer Aniston also paid tribute to Pamela Anderson. However, many seem to have forgotten it.

In April, Jennifer Aniston posted a behind-the-scenes reel from the set of Murder Mystery 2. The video showed glimpses of the making of the film from makeup to stunts. It opened with the Emmy winner standing alongside cast mate Adam Sandler. She rocked an all-black outfit featuring a coat, turtleneck, and pants. But what stood out was hair styled in a messy bun with face-framing pieces and wispy bangs, reminiscent of Pamela Anderson’s iconic updo.

The Good Girl star dyed her hair blonde to pull this look for the wedding scene in the mystery film. Professional hairstylist Clayton Hawkins also talked about this updo with Byrdie calling it “a breath of fresh air”. A SexyHair ambassador described this look as sexy and effortless at the same time. “The kind of updo that could be let down—in slow motion, of course—with one pin,” he added.

Even after decades of its end, fans cannot name a TV show hairstyle more iconic than the Rachel cut from Friends. The moment people see someone with a shoulder-length fuzzy bob and thick, face-framing layers, their mind instantly jumps to the character’s look. Jennifer Aniston made this look famous when she stepped out with the now-famous look in 20 episodes of Season 1.

According to the estimated reports, it quickly became the most requested haircut of the ’90s and over 11 million took this style. Now almost three decades after popularizing this look, the Horrible Bosses star once again flaunted the cut in an Instagram post. Though this haircut was massively loved, the actress never liked it and found it hard to maintain on regular days.
