Prince Harry‘s tenure as a senior working member of the royal family involved a decade of devoted military service. Over 10 years, the 39-year-old completed two impactful tours in Afghanistan, serving as both a forward air controller and an Apache helicopter pilot. Just hours after withdrawing his libel claim against Associated Newspapers, the Duke of Sussex attended the 21st Annual Living Legends of Aviation Awards in Beverly Hills. Although many expected Meghan Markle to be there too, she did not join her husband at the event. Insiders at the event shared with Mirror that the Prince did not earn the honor just for his military service. He was also chosen for his global work supporting ex-servicemen.

This included The Invictus Games, championing mental health for military personnel, and contributing to global philanthropy. However, the Duke receiving this honor has raised eyebrows among many royal watchers. Numerous royal experts, speaking to Fox News Digital, called the induction “ridiculous”. They highlighted that, lately, the 39-year-old is more recognized for airing his grievances than for any accomplishments in aviation.

Prince Harry’s achievement also came at a time when King Charles and Kate Middleton were recovering from surgeries. The princess recently had a successful abdominal surgery, and the King is scheduled for prostate treatment next week. This has further sparked questions among royal observers about whether Prince Harry has reached out to his family or if he is being absorbed in his honors.
