However, recent updates stirred the internet, claiming that the release date of Christopher Nolan’s movie has been changed. Fortunately, this was only a rumor and the reporting websites did clear the air on the misinformation.
The official account of Pop Tingz recently revealed on Twitter that Christopher Nolan has delayed the release date of Oppenheimer. Initially, the movie was scheduled to get on July 21, 2023, alongside the star-studded movie Barbie. In a now-deleted post, many fans poked fun at the creators of biological drama that they might be fearing the challenge Greta Gerwig’s film will bring at the release.

Later, however, the pop culture page shared new tweets clarifying that the release has not been halted. The same was clarified by Variety’s writeup on interview with Thierry Fremaux, which was the root cause of Pop Tingz’s initial tweet. AP News Film writer Lindsey Bahr also clarified Oppenheimer release date confusion through a tweet as well.
