Kim Kardashian finally made it to the MET Gala, and so did North West. After weeks of speculations about being snubbed by the event, the Kardashian proved to continue being a highlight. While she prepared to dazzle, so did her nine-year-old daughter. When the socialite first began attending the exclusive Gala, it was because of her ex-husband, Kanye West.

The biggest and much-awaited fashion event of the year finally took place at the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York. While Ye remained absent, Kim Kardashian carried on with half of him through his daughter. With North West being the youngest one to prepare for the event, did she actually make a debut?

North West and Kim Kardashian snapped freshly for MET Gala

The Kardashian- Jenner clan has managed to turn themselves from socialites to unavoidable fashionistas in the last decade. Instead of getting snubbed, they had an additional member ready to join them. It was none other than the older Kardashian daughter, North West. The mother-daughter duo were clicked walking together. Although the latter could only go until the gate since people below 18 are now allowed at the event. Their dresses were on point with the theme and they are already impressing the critics.

The theme for this year’s MET Gala was Karl Lagerfeld: A Line of Beauty. So the 42-year-old turned up in a Schiaparelli dress made completely of pearly beads with a classy yet sexy hair updo. She teamed it up with creamy heels and a long creamy white jacket that swept the floor. Meanwhile, her daughter was doused in Chanel with jeans, a white top, a jacket, and a rather retro classy hairstyle.

There were speculations about the Kardashian clan being banned this year but proved to be wrong.

How the socialite made it into the event despite it getting more exclusive

MET Gala was set to be more exclusive this year. By increasing the ticket price by $20,000 and cutting out on influencers, it sought to gain back its old glory. However, the Kardashian took to her Instagram to confirm her presence just days before the event. She visited the late designer’s office in Paris to get inspiration for the event. Not only she, but the Jenner sisters also made an entrance. Needless to say, the efforts proved to be worthy.
