In the Netflix documentary about him, he revealed that his mother wondered why his room did not have photos of women like his other friends did. “Where did I go wrong?” she sobbed regularly. Apparently, his room was filled with posters of bodybuilders, posing with their bulked-up bodies.

It worried his mother so much that she took him to a doctor. The doctor assured him that it was perfectly normal for a boy his age to have gym posters in his room and that he did it just to get some inspiration. She wanted to make sure he was straight, which we now know he is. This was back in Austria, where he grew up and began developing an interest in fitness and pursued his career regardless of the hurdles.

No amount of hurdles stopped him in his journey, and even today he did he has not stopped.

It was 1970 when Arnold Schwarzenegger not only won the Olympia competition but was also the youngest person to achieve the dream. He holds the record for winning the title seven times, while also getting his break into Hollywood. His first movie was Hercules in New York, which may not be a critical success but helped him.
