Did Henry Cavill Do Ballet? How Is the ‘Argylle’ Lead’s Relationship With Dance?
Henry Cavill may have taken over the meme world with his recent hairdo, but it looks like the actor has fans confused over his amazing dance moves now. Even though he has always been an avid supporter of the arts, his fans could not help but wonder if the star himself had any ballet classes in his childhood. After his moment with Dua Lipa for the film, Argylle, the speculations that the star was a dancer at heart spun out of control.
Years before he dazzled the world with his dance moves, Cavill opened up about how he was not much of a dancer except under very specific circumstances.

While Henry Cavill did not do ballet, he has had a major soft spot for it. In fact, he once even took time out of his schedule to visit the Royal Winnipeg Ballet and its dancers during filming. However, even though he appreciates the art form, Cavill told Cosmopolitan that he was “no John Travolta.” Back in 2015, the now 40-year-old revealed that he was “not the guy who runs to the dance floor,” except when he had “a few drinks.”
“I’ve been told some good things from time to time,” admitted the Man of Steel star. However, he did not seem to believe it as much. Henry Cavill also claimed that he was unsure whether dancing was his strength or weakness, but the world seems to find it a little hard to believe him after the latest dance sequence from Argylle.
Although Henry Cavill may not have required any extensive training for his dance with Lipa, he is known to add a new skill to his portfolio every time he has a new project.

While it should come as no surprise that Cavill throws himself into his projects, over the years he has kept proving it. From his swordsmanship on The Witcher to his love for his former DC role, he has ensured that he gives his 100% no matter what the project is. In fact, when he landed the role of Geralt of Rivia, the actor lost himself in the books and the video games to bring more depth into his character.
Back when he was still playing Superman, he buried himself in the comics so as to not miss a beat while playing his dream role. He also worked extra hard to keep up the superhero physique, so he could always look the part. Through all of that, Henry Cavill has ended up proving that he definitely has what it takes to be one of the greats.
