Despite the Lead Stars Reeking of Controversy, ‘Deadpool & Wolverine’ Marks a Big Win at the Saturn Award

The planetary alignment, the blooming of the rare flowers in California, or anything that follows a decennial census, not many things shoulder up to Hugh Jackman and Ryan Reynolds coming together for Deadpool & Wolverine, marking not only the ultimate Wolverine comeback but also the final stamp that Deadpool is indeed Marvel Jesus. While the movie proved the same with its ceiling-breaking box office collection, unfortunately, due to the lack of an action movie category, the Academy Award could not throw a nod its way, but the 52nd Saturn Awards have.

As the biggest night for science fiction, fantasy, and horror films took place, Deadpool & Wolverine, despite the current condition of its lead actors, has managed to persevere.

Regardless of the aftermath, the masterpiece that brought them together has won the Best Film Editing at the Saturn Awards. 

Upon its release, the movie blew both the critics and the masses away as it contained the classic Ryan Reynolds touch, making it the big comeback that Marvel Studios actually needed.
