Despite the Dangers, Prince Harry Will Bring His Family Back to the UK Only if This 'One Condition' Is Met
The calls for Britain’s estranged son to return to his homeland began as soon as the Invictus 10th anniversary was announced. While Prince Harry made the trip back to the UK, his Californian family, Meghan Markle, and the kids, stayed put in their Montecito home. The reason being, the Duke of Sussex lost his police protection when he stepped away from royal duties. Given the Sussexes’ polarizing presence, there was no way the Prince could jeopardize his family’s safety. However, there is one condition that might change his mind.
A former friend of Prince Harry has recently come forward to shed light on the chances of the 39-year-old’s return to the UK.

Prince Harry’s uncle, Lord Robert Fellowes, recently passed away at the age of 82. And this has put the Duke of Sussex in a tough spot again. In order to attend the funeral of his uncle, Prince Harry would have to fly back to the UK, the country he does not feel is safe for him and his family. The only way the Duke might bring his family to the UK, or even fly solo, is if there is not “too much drama,” a friend told the Daily Beast. The friend added, “It will be very sad for him if he can’t make it”.
Given the current climate, however, it is highly unlikely that Prince Harry’s presence in the UK will fly under the radar, and will not cause any "drama", especially if he brings his family along. And even more unlikely would be the arrival of Meghan Markle to the UK, especially after she recently declined a royal invitation to mend fences, according to popular royal author Tom Quinn.

Meghan Markle and Prince Harry’s children barely know their cousins in the royal palace. And the royal family reportedly wants to pull them, Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet, back into the fold. Although King Charles has his reservations, despite his heart crying for his grandchildren, Prince William and Kate Middleton allegedly extended an invite for the Sussex children to visit the family in the UK.
Meghan Markle, still nursing her royal wounds, flatly refused to set foot in the palace, Tom Quinn told The Mirror. Quinn added, “There is no way Meghan would bring the children to the UK”. Therefore, even if Prince Harry attends his uncle’s memorial in the UK, it cannot be said for sure if Meghan Markle would like to join him with the children.
