Despite Sydney Sweeney’s Claim to Fame, ‘Immaculate’ Director Did Not Want Her N*ked on Screen for the Flick
Sydney Sweeney has come to be defined as the brightest in Hollywood owing to a plethora of reasons. Firstly, her project choices that have always displayed just how much of a range the actress possesses. Secondly, the unconventional route that Sweeney has taken where, in one project, she bares it all for the sake of character development and in another features as a nun. However, as per a recent revelation by the Immaculate director, the latter was done for a very specific reason.
The summer horror flick starring Sweeney took the unique route of not subjecting the actress to the usual stereotype of n*ked scenes that she is often associated with, and it was all thanks to Michael Mohan.

While Sydney Sweeney, over the years, has made many entries to her portfolio, her most acclaimed piece of work for the longest time was Euphoria. The series was known for its excessive n*dity among other things. Owing to the risks she had taken for the development of her character, Sweeney was widely stereotyped as the new Marilyn Monroe. However, Michael Mohan wanted no part of it as he did not want to be known as the guy "who makes movies where Sydney gets n*ked" according to his statement to the LA Times.
The director, going in, was well aware of the kind of noise that surrounded the actress and made an active choice to not fuel the fire further. Mohan's movie Immaculate, as thrilling as it was on its own, did not require anything more of Sweeney than her golden acting talent, which the actress was more than willing to provide.
Although Mohan and Sweeney were able to find a balance, there have been times where the actress has not been as lucky.

This, unfortunately, does not always end up in agreements and blockbusters like Immaculate. The actress has revealed on several occasions how she does what the role asks of her. However, she has felt on occasions that the director, more than the role, has demanded unnecessary n*dity for the sake of views.
This explains why the actress chooses to give her fans a whiplash with her career choices. One moment she is the easy breezy Bea in Anyone But You and another she is a nun in Immaculate. The actress has proven and continues to prove that she is among the brightest in Hollywood.
