Despite Marking Absence at King Charles lll’s Coronation Ceremony, Meghan Markle Wishes Something Special for Her Kids

Amidst the nail-biting drama between the Royal Family and the Sussexes, King Charles lll’s coronation ceremony is going to take place on the 6th of May. Fortunately, Prince Harry is going to attend the ceremony but without his wife, Meghan Markle. Given it is their child Archie’s birthday on the same day as the coronation, the Duchess of Sussex wants something special for their children.

Whatever the stretched strings between the parents and the Royal Family, the Duchess is not going to attend King Charles lll’s coronation ceremony. However, she has planned a birthday party for Archie. As reported by Marie Claire, the former Suits star wants her children to know their grandfather. Apparently, she does not want any more rifts between them and the Royals.

She wants her children to meet their grandfather, Charles. However, the California-based royal also wishes her decision to be seen as an unselfish act. She just wants to keep all the attention on the King of England, and thus, she decided not to attend the ceremony. Not wanting to stir up the drama from the past in the public eye, Markle chose not to be present on the King’s big day. However, it disappointed King Charles lll.

What is Meghan Markle going to do on her son’s birthday?

Because it is the birthday of their eldest child, the Duchess is going to have an intimate party. With their flock of rescue chickens and 3 dogs, the intimate guest list includes Archie’s school chums and some mummy friends. Also, Markle’s mother, Doria Ragland and some more recognizable faces will be there at the party.

The real question lies on Prince Harry’s schedule. How is he going to make it to his father’s coronation and his son’s birthday party on the same day? Fortunately, because of the 8-hour difference in time, the Duke of Sussex will fly back home after attending the 11 am coronation ceremony. Thus, he will be able to make it on time for his son’s birthday party celebration as well.

The royal experts anticipate a little awkwardness despite the Duchess’ absence. However, they also admitted to having chances and making efforts to mend the relationship between Prince Harry and King Charles lll.
