Deadpool & Wolverine is the self-acclaimed Marvel Jesus and believe it or not, every update so far has meticulously underscored this certification. While a few days ago, the movie broke a one-of-a-kind record with its reported run-time, setting this flick apart from the previous films, another record was shattered just recently, setting it apart from the franchise. Deadpool & Wolverine reportedly broke Fandango’s record for first-day ticket sales in 2024 and the announcement came with a fresh preview image.

Besides that, it has simultaneously earned the highest pre-sales for a movie within the Deadpool franchise. To announce the ticket availability from May 20, Ryan Reynolds and Hugh Jackman came around embarking on their seasoned marketing tactics with an inevitable touch of humor as they dropped a clip featuring Deadpool and Wolverine. As Reynolds was eating a banana, the Wolverine actor pulled out a yellow envelope, with two tickets to the movie.

Ryan Reynolds and Hugh Jackman released the latest trailer for Deadpool & Wolverine, announcing that tickets are now available. True to their promotional flair, they included a sneaky QR code in the footage hidden in a building in the background. It briefly appears between Wolverine's legs as he walks into the frame to Madonna’s ‘Like A Prayer.’

Scanning the QR code leads to another video of Reynolds delivering a disclaimer, packed with his signature humor about the "paper-thin" nature of Deadpool & Wolverine. He warns fans about the jokes at their expense and emphasizes not to miss out on the post-credits scenes. While director Shawn Levy assured fans that no prior knowledge is needed to enjoy the movie, Reynolds’ playful advice to “sit back, relax, and let us lower your IQ” echoes this sentiment. With the movie generating significant buzz, it is clear that fans have already caught on.
