Ryan Reynolds is undoubtedly one of the most skilled actors and entrepreneurs. Despite proving himself as the best comic and romantic actor, the Canadian actor got more fame for his R-rated film, Deadpool. With the success of the first two installments, the franchise is coming back with the third installment on the 8th of November, 2024. Now, as the shooting of the film has already begun, here is a little sneak peek at behind-the-scenes of the production.

The third installment of the Deadpool franchise will mark its debut in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. With the MCU debut, Hugh Jackman will also return to reprise his iconic role as Wolverine. Amidst the writers’ strike, Deadpool 3 began filming. The celebrity makeup artist Bill Corso posted a picture of himself with the makeup work for the character.

Originally, he posted the picture in April. However, with the beginning of the filming, fans can now imagine how Deadpool would look in the movie. The picture sees the artist standing in front of three sculptures of Wade Wilson’s scarred face. One of the three busts looks completed. One of them sported the 46-year-old actor’s skin color as well. Nevertheless, Corso appears to be still diligently working on the other two.

This is not the first time that Corso will do makeup for the Merc with the Mouth. He was the makeup designer for the first film, followed by becoming a makeup supervisor in the second movie. While the Vancouver-born actor can not do anything about the script courtesy of the WGA, the makeup artist seems to be doing an excellent job.

Why can’t Ryan Reynolds do anything about the script?

With the ongoing writers’ strike, there are some rules that every production team must follow. One of the rules is that during the ongoing strike, no writer can work. Additionally, no one can alter or even make changes to the script as well. Therefore, no matter how much the Deadpool actor wants to improvise his dialogue, he will not be able to do it.
