While emotions might have been flying high, the 34-year-old’s sideline breakdown sent everyone reeling.

Although Reid might have brushed it off at a sports conference after the match, the older Kelce ended up lecturing his brother on how his behavior was not appropriate.

In a recent episode of Travis and Jason Kelce’s New Heights podcast, the brothers got candid about the Kansas City Chiefs star on-field exchange with Andy Reid. That was when the older of the two brothers said that the tight end’s behavior that night had “crossed a line.” The 34-year-old then also ended up admitting that his actions were “definitely unacceptable.”

While the world might have been thrown by the tense interaction between the coach and Kelce, Reid claimed that it was nothing to worry about. The athlete may have kept the reason for his outburst under wraps. However, that did not stop fans from speculating that it had something to do with his girlfriend, Taylor Swift, and her friends watching the game from the stands.

The Kansas City Chiefs’ star also fueled rumors that his outburst could have happened, as he wanted to impress Swift with his skills.

Shortly after the Super Bowl, Travis Kelce addressed his unruly behavior on the field in a press conference. After he was questioned about his rather intense interaction with Andy Reid, the athlete said, “You guys saw that? I’m going to keep it between us” referring to his coach. While it might have just been him protecting his privacy, Swifties could not help but wonder if it had something to do with Taylor Swift.

After all, the singer had flown from Tokyo to make it for the Kansas City Chiefs match against the San Francisco 49ers. While the world might never know what Kelce’s outburst was really about, it looked like the athlete just wanted to be put into the game, instead of being kept on the sidelines.
