Jada Pinkett Smith’s bombshell claims about her husband, Will Smith have brought the spotlight on one of Hollywood’s biggest matrimonial whirlwinds. Weeks after sending shockwaves through the entertainment industry’s front lines, the barrage of new revelations continues. The latest of them is the Red Table Talk host’s frequent mentions and disclosures about her late “soulmate”, Tupac Shakur, which has her standing on a divided line of scrutiny.

It is Halloween and while many have taken to this year’s resonant themes such as that of Barbie, Oppenheimer, and the likes, Jada Pinkett Smith started it off with Tupac Shakur. In her Instagram story, the Madagascar actress posted a throwback photo of herself and the now-deceased rapper from their early days. The duo were very close friends who crossed paths at the Baltimore School of the Arts as teenagers.

The throwback comes at a time when Pinkett Smith, in her recent interviews, admitted Shakur to be her “soulmate”. While strictly maintaining that their relationship was only platonic, the rapper has found wide mentions in her recently released memoir, Worthy. Additionally, all of it comes close on the heels of her, revealing Shakur to be suffering from alopecia, not unlike her. That in itself came after revelations that the singer had also proposed to her from jail.

The recent light on Shakur has also shot up the actress’s former public admission to Will Smith of an “entanglement”.

Recent shedding of light on the truth of her seven-year-long and continuing separation from Will Smith has brought Jada Pinkett’s other admissions to the fore. In a July 202, Red Table Talk episode, the actress publicly admitted to Smith of an “entanglement” with singer, August Alsina. The supposed actions took place when the couple stood briefly separated after 2011. She maintained that the bond was formed by a mutual desire to “heal”.

Furthermore, she justified the bond as a means to find “happiness” within herself before sorting things out with her husband. Alsina had met Pinkett before, but their relationship took shape only during the latter’s time of separation with Smith. However, it stood nullified soon and the actress was back with Smith.
