So when the 24-year-old gave wings to his creativity after bringing the F1 legend, Lewis Hamilton, to a fashion event, no one was surprised. When music and sports collided, it gave birth to an iconic creation. A few weeks ago, the young rapper and fashion designer met with the F1 legend, Lewis Hamilton. And now the Life in a Year star disclosed a custom-made livery designed by him. 

The GEN3 is the world’s swiftest, lightest, most intense, and most economical electric race car ever constructed at the Southwire Portland E-Prix. And being a diehard fan of the sport ever since he attended a Formula E race in Brooklyn the previous season, Jaden Smith decided it was time to take his love to the next step: collaboration. As acrofan reported, The Karate Kid star teamed up with Formula E to create a unique livery design.

Fans got to see the fastest and most powerful car closely at the Formula E Allianz Fan Village at Portland International Raceway. The design has Smith’s personal touch with his love for the arts. The design reflected his creative passion for expression as well. Moreover, the iconography used is a set of graphical symbols. Their purpose was to illustrate the combination of artistic expression with investigating the surroundings through studying and valuing knowledge.

The design’s inspiration was extremely personal because the design includes subjects that fascinated the After Earth star. Those subjects included world history, mathematics, along with physics. This list of subjects also included the rapper’s library and the learning center that provides education to the community. They explain from sustainability to mathematics.

How does Jaden Smith feel about this major collaboration?

As the Young Artist Award-winning singer admitted, his love for Formula E was deep. He expressed his happiness and considered himself blessed to be able to design the livery for the car. As he praised his partnership with Formula E, Smith was thrilled to express himself freely. Believing in giving back to the community, Jaden Smith appreciated Formula E’s technology-led and innovative efforts.

The reason their partnership created wonders was Smith’s and Formula E’s intentions of improving educational standards and helping the community align with each other. After hanging out with the F1 star, the hip-hop star once again proved his creative passion with this new collaboration.
