So when he took to Twitter to announce that he went to see Barbie on date night with his wife, fans were all for it. With a mischievous glint in his eye, the maestro of the Game of Thrones universe posed for an adorable portrait.

With his signature cap adorned with a vivid pink bow, he carried a head-turning feather boa on his neck. The caption revealed that the photo was of him dressed up to catch Greta Gerwig’s Barbie with his wife. Not that the ensemble did not wow fans enough, but the ‘#imkenough’ hashtag he included in the post was the cherry on the cake. Not to mention how he casually slipped in that his lovely wife thinks that “pink is my color.”

A trend that has engulfed all of Hollywood, Barbiecore seems to have caught up with the industry’s writers too. Known for his approachable demeanor, the novelist loves to engage with his passionate fanbase on Twitter. Earlier, he also took to the platform to let fans know that he joined the WGA strike currently rocking Hollywood. Now seen rocking the Barbie trend, fans are here to support his experiment look too. 

While people all over the globe adorn the hues of the newly released blockbuster, Martin did not want to be left behind. And his fans are glad he did not skip this trend.
