Before becoming The Witcher‘s sensational star, Henry Cavill became a fan favorite Superman in Man of Steel. Zack Snyder approached the superhero with his unique vision. However, what James Gunn is thinking about for his Superman: Legacy differs totally from Snyder’s point of view. While the DC boss has finally found his perfect Kryptonian, David Corenswet once revealed his feelings for the British actor’s version of Superman.

Once James Gunn and Peter Safran took over the DCU, they changed the dynamics of the studio. Now, David Corenswet fits Gunn’s version of Superman and Rachel Brosnahan is the new Lois Lane. However, before even becoming Man of Steel, Corenswet expressed his love for Cavill’s version in 2019 by saying, as per Entertainment Weekly, “I love the Henry Cavill dark and gritty take.” Additionally, he also acknowledged the fact that fans thought he also looked like the 40-year-old star.

They say, ‘Where there is a will, there is a way.’ His strong willpower and enthusiasm for the character’s portrayal along with his brilliant acting skills got him the part in Superman: Legacy.
