The Friends star and her partner, Johnny McDaid, have been living their dream life together with Cox’s little one, Coco. On the 10th anniversary of their togetherness, Cox shared the most adorable wish for her partner, but there is a twist.

Johnny McDaid is a singer, songwriter, musician, and record producer from Northern Ireland. The 47-year-old artist has worked with several established singers, including Ed Sheeran. On the 10th anniversary of Cox and McDaid, the actress shared a video of their journey featuring the ‘Perfect’ singer. Wishing her partner the best wishes for their togetherness, she also expressed her gratitude toward Ed Sheeran for introducing her to Johnny McDaid.

At the beginning of the video, Cox shared a picture of herself hugging the ‘Shape of You’ singer with “10 years ago, this guy introduced me to” written over it. Followed by the picture of McDaid and Sheeran with “This guy,” completing the previous sentence. With a series of pictures with her partner, the Cougar Town actress shared some of the beautiful moments with her long-term partner.

The most interesting and delightful part of the wish was when Ed Sheeran sang his famous song with altered lyrics for Cox. “I know your heart is falling too. Johnny is in love with your body. Last night you were in this room, now his bedsheets smell like you. Every day discovering something brand new, Johnny’s been in the shape of you.” To add more love to her captivating wish, the 59-year-old actress had Sheeran’s ‘Shape of You’ in the background as well.

Johnny McDaid has worked with the 32-year-old singer for a long time. Interestingly, they have written many songs together, including ‘Shape of You’. Sheeran’s special feature in the above video clip explains why the song is so close to Cox’s heart. Moreover, the actress once tried to talk to McDaid using his own lyrics. Whatever McDaid asked, Cox answered him using the lyrics he had written.

After using all the other songs, she ended the conversation with, “Love your body“. Well, being a songwriter, how could he not correct her? McDaid instantly corrected the lyrics, “I’m in love with your body.” Well, not only this amazing couple but also fans are in love with them. They also have Ed Sheeran, who recently dedicated a song to his close friend, to thank for introducing these two.
