Now, decades after their show’s end, it seems the Scream star wishes to reunite with her former co-star on the small screen.

The new reports reveal Cox has requested Aniston for a role in the Apple TV+ series The Morning Show.

Courteney Cox wants Jennifer Aniston to get her into The Morning Show

Sources of The Touch recently revealed that Courteney Cox has been keen to work with Jennifer Aniston in The Morning Show. “Courteney has a lot of ideas about the kind of role she could play,” stated an insider. The Cougar Town star has been so determined to get on the show she would even take a cameo or guest role. 

The insider also cleared that it had nothing to do with money. Instead, the actress just likes to keep herself busy and loves working on new things. According to them, acting has always been her passion, and she currently has no new project under her belt. The informer also emphasized that the newsroom drama will resume shooting for season 4 in March. So it would not be possible to come up with a character and bring changes to the storyline.

While it remains unclear if the actress will get a role or not, it is for sure that this best-friend duo has always supported each other’s endeavors.

Aniston celebrated Cox’s success with Home Court

In August 2023, Jennifer Aniston dropped a picture on her Instagram to celebrate longtime pal Courteney Cox. The Emmy winner shared a picture of the girl gang posing at an event celebrating a new limited edition collection from Cox’s home-care product brand, Homecourt. “Celebrating CC and the latest @homecourt launch. So proud of you,” she wrote on the photo alongside cute emojis.

In the snap, Aniston and Cox were seen, along with several other friends, including actresses Sarah Paulson and Molly Shannon. These little gestures of the actresses showcase how closely they have knitted and show up to celebrate each others’ victories.
