Friends established a whole new realm for humor aficionados. From the main cast’s iconic dialogue delivery to the popular Central Perk, the program never failed to tickle the funny bones of its audience. Aside from its satires and quick-witted jokes, the show was also known for its incredible fashion sense. Although Jennifer Aniston’s Rachel Green was almost certainly the most fashionable, Courteney Cox’s Monica was not far behind.

Aside from her rigorous dress code as a chef, the character was quite the fashionista when her apron used to come off. Sharing the same fashion dream as millions of Monica Geller fans is none other than Courteney Cox’s daughter.

In an exclusive interview with REFINERY29’s Megan Decker, the Friends star revealed that her daughter Coco Arquette is in her 90s era. She further playfully revealed that her daughter is “so mad” at her for not saving her 90s wardrobe. But when she thinks about those clothes, she does not go, “Oh, I wish I could wear those clothes again,” and that is why Cox did not save them. The actress joked that her daughter wanted everything she wore back then.

During the same interview, the Homecourt founder was questioned about whether her daughter resembled the actor in terms of appearance. In reaction, the actress stated that she never let her daughter pluck her brows. Cox reckoned Coco has “beautiful arched, thick brows” and she is anxious that they may not grow back if she plucks them too much. Furthermore, she talked about her brows, claiming she used to have really thin brows and used to put “Latisse” on them, but now she microblades them to save time.

The nostalgia for the NBC hit Friends is bigger than ever since the streaming giant Netflix brought it onto the screens. While the 90s sitcom elevated sarcasm to an all-time high, it also featured Courteney Cox unleashing her inner Monica on the red carpets, making her the ultimate style icon. The most notable was the black slip dress she wore to the Snake Eyes Los Angeles premiere in 1998, hand in hand with her then-husband, David Arquette.

The same dress was worn by her daughter Coco 21 years later. The actress shared this beautiful memory on her Instagram profile with the caption saying that she is not the type to cling to things, but “this was a damn good purchase.” Further cementing the fact that her daughter has the same interests and fashion style as her. Aside from the black slip dress, the actors’ 90s wardrobe consisted of floral-infused tops and oversized T-shirts resulting in a significant fashion revolution, which people are still following today.
