Coronation Chicken? Know About This “Personally Chosen” Recipe by King Charles for His Big Day

As King Charles took over the Palace and its ways ever since Queen Elizabeth’s demise, we have to get to see many royal firsts within Buckingham. From changing the royal routes for the coronation to adding the carriages of his own choice, King Charles has been trying it all. He did introduce some brand-new alterations to The Firm. Nonetheless, he kept all the age-old traditions grounded in his decisions. However, that was it. After having his ways within the administration, the monarch has also decided to get his favorite meals from the royal kitchen. 

As reported by People Magazine, the previous day Buckingham Palace made public its coronation special for Their Majesties. The first official recipe for the Coronation Big lunch is finally out. And it is indeed King Charles’ favorite dish to be served at the Palace. The humongous celebrations that are to take place from May 6 to May 8 as coronation quiche notes will have the royal dish as a prime delicacy on the menu.

The tutorial video with the royal chefs preparing the dish features spinach, broad beans, and tarragon. The same also went up on the royal family’s official Twitter account with the caption, “Introducing… Coronation Quiche.” It also added that the dish was personally chosen by both King Charles and his wife, Queen Consort Camilla, ahead of the highly anticipated lunch. 

How is the coronation quiche made?

As per the publication, it is understood that the dish is primarily a chicken cuisine specially prepared for the once-in-a-generation occasion. The instructions as laid down involve a homemade or an industrial-packed dough tucked fitted into a tin.

The fillings include beans, cheddar cheese, spinach, and tarragon. Following the stuffing, it is then topped with a semi-liquid paste of milk, cream, and eggs. The same also includes herbs and seasoning until baked into a crispy gold mouthwatering royal dish. The chef stated that it could be a great combination of salad and boiled potatoes. Meanwhile, the royal family remarked that the dish can be “easily adapted to different tastes and preferences.
