Amidst the tumultuous cheering and celebrations taking place around the winners and losers, the Superbowl 2025 has also unleashed some climbers owing to it. Said climbers being the Wrexham AFC that was accompanied by none other than Channing Tatum to hype them up at the NFL championship. Courtesy to the Hollywood exposure provided by Ryan Reynolds and Rob McElhenney, the Welsh football club Wrexham AFC is being brought out from the folds of Wales, UK. The duo have worked quite a bit to bring the Wrexham name to the forefront, even turning the origin lands of the league into a Hollywood resident attraction. 

Like their 3 season long documentary-series Welcome to Wrexham, the Superbowl was another one of their steps on the ladder, giving the team’s popularity a gear-up, and there could have been no one better than Channing Tatum also known as: the best dance coach in Hollywood, who could have hyped the team for this day, while having a little fun of his own as well. 

Accompanying the team through an ad for STōK Cold Brew Coffee, Channing Tatum seems to have thoroughly enjoyed his time with the club and the vibrantly green country of Wales. Taking to Instagram to write about and show his followers how his warm welcome to the place made him “want to stay forever”. Tatum also gave a big head nod towards his Free Guy co-star, Reynolds, and Rob McElhenney for what they have done for the Wrexham Community thus far.

The Wrexham football team continues to make its mark with an appearance at the Superbowl 2025, which was only one of its many public appearances under the guide of the Hollywood duo, and at the NFL Superbowl of America. Reynolds's contribution is visible in several of the club's promotion and publicity-garnering acts, the Welcome to Wrexham alone collecting critical acclaim, praise for its multifaceted display of the team players’ lives, and various other nuances of football culture.

Reynold’s and McElhenney’s takeover of the Wrexham club has boosted the team's profile to a great extent, giving exposure not just to the club but also where they hail from, the country of the Unconquerable Dragon of Wales, turning it into a trip for several of Reynold’s acquaintances, peers, and colleagues.

From world-renowned superstars of big-screeners like Wolverine, actor/filmmaker Danny DeVito and family, Guardians of The Galaxy actor Chris Pratt, who had also filmed a comically loaded video announcing the unveiling of the Ryan Rodney Reynolds Memorial Park along with co-owner Rob McElhenney. They have even had former footballer, David Beckham, express his awe towards what Reynolds and McElhenney had achieved for the club, and visibly in turn, for the country. 

The Magic Mike star, Tatum continued his post on Instagram, beginning with Tatum himself, giving the Wrexham Deadpool sculpture a kiss for the picture, photos taken around the Wrexham stadium and Wales, behind the scenes of his shooting for the STōK Cold Brew Coffee ad, several of them featuring Reynolds and all of them telling of the hearty time Tatum spent in Wales.
