It may have been her love story with Prince Harry that made royal fans do the double take, but Suits was always the show that put Meghan Markle on the celebrity map. Although the Duchess has long left the life of screen and made a permanent residence in the tabloids instead, the show’s touchdown to the streaming platforms with a popularity resurgence has evoked a natural longing for Markle to appear at least for the reunions. However, having missed most of them, the sole beacon of hope in the minds of the fans was Patrick J. Adams’ podcast. 

Although the Duchess has yet to grace the scene, Adams has aspirations to honor her should she ever make an appearance.

When the Suits stars Patrick J. Adams and Sarah Rafferty decided to revisit and rewatch the show in a podcast format, Meghan Markle’s appearance on the series was the burning question of the moment. Although the question remained hanging on the cliff with the no-shows, according to The Hollywood Reporter, the hosts, especially Adams still hold the Duchess an essential part of that gang they would roll out the red carpet for, in case they ever make up their mind for an appearance. 

Adams added should Markle show up on Sidebar: A Suits Podcast, they intend to celebrate “what she did on the show” instead of telling her story on her behalf. The actor, who played Mike Ross in the legal drama, while reflecting on how the Duchess beautifully brought Rachel Zane to life, expressed gratitude for making the journey on screen so fulfilling because both the characters, he believes, were absolutely important and impactful to his journey.

The Suits star also recounted how Markle reached out to him about the podcast, having revealed the same in a Reddit post previously.

During his recent conversation with The Hollywood Reporter, the Suits actor, Patrick J. Adams, recounted what he shared on Reddit before in a fan response, revealing that Meghan Markle contacted him after he and Sarah Rafferty launched the podcast. The Duchess reportedly sent them a “lovely note” and lent a helping hand in return. 

Adams expressed hope for a “crossover,” convinced that the experience would be “incredible” for the fans. Having missed the reunions a number of times previously, Adams revealed beforehand that they do not have constant communication with Markle. However, upon her receiving her good wishes with the podcast launch, it remains to be seen if it could ultimately materialize into the most anticipated appearance the fans have been suiting up for.
