AGC and Library Pictures are the principal financiers for the movie in addition to Elevate Production Finance, Copper Island Entertainment, and Medan Productions. Eden has added support from the Queensland Government through Screen Queensland’s Production Attraction Strategy, the City of Gold Coast, and the Australian Federal Government’s Location Offset. Hence, it is safe to say that Eden is in for some prime-time stay at the box office.
Since this deal sets a strong start for a prelude to the box office frenzy Eden will herald upon its official release, this is the perfect opportunity to know more about the movie before the Venice premiere.

In addition to Sydney Sweeney and Ana de Armas, the cast of Eden includes Vanessa Kirby, Jude Law, Daniel Brühl, Felix Kammerer, Toby Wallace, and Richard Roxburgh. The official synopsis describes this upcoming thriller by Ron Howard as the story of a group of people who leave society and civilization behind to travel to the Galapagos Islands in search of the meaning of life.
The film was first announced in October 2022, and filming began a year later in November 2023 in Queensland, Australia. For her role in the movie, Sweeney even ditched her signature blonde locks and returned to her natural brunette hair. Sweeney previously mentioned that her hair color choices are often influenced by professional demands in an interview with Yahoo! Life, and it appears that her commitment to these demands is paying off with her role in Eden.
