Can You Watch ‘Argylle’ on Netflix? Where to Stream Henry Cavill’s First Project After ‘The Witcher’?
Henry Cavill suffered a brutal twist of fate close on the heels of exiting Netflix’s The Witcher. The British actor had just announced his return in the post-credits scene of Dwayne Johnson’s Black Adam. Ironically, not only did James Gunn reboot the DC canon just days later, but also showed the door to the above two actors, erasing them from the canon. As fans clamored for a saving grace for the 40-year-old, Matthew Vaughn came forward with Argylle.
On the cusp of the ex-DC actor returning to the big screens, there are few details already available on his outing’s home release.

Matthew Vaughn crafted a brilliant meta-universe approach for at least a trilogy of movies under a franchise, all starring Henry Cavill. The spy-thriller, Argylle, will land in theaters first on 2nd February 2024, followed by a streaming release on Apple TV+. The streamer acquired the rights to the movie in August 2021 and thus, it may not come to Netflix anytime soon and call Apple TV+ its digital home for the foreseeable future as an exclusive.
Following the likes of Killers of the Flower Moon, the Henry Cavill starrer will then proceed with a Blu-ray and physical release. Incidentally, Argylle will follow a staggered release over the course of three days. In France, the movie will drop in theaters on 31st January and on 1st February in the UK and Australia. However, it will stick to its 2nd February release date in the US, opting to make use of the long weekend window ahead of it.
As for the union of Netflix and Henry Cavill, a likely date will approach soon, owing to swift developments.

Centered around the teenage detective and Sherlock Holmes’ sister, Enola Holmes, Netflix has plans to unite its cast for the third installment in the franchise. Playing the lead role, Millie Bobby Brown will reprise her role as the young spy with Henry Cavill set to appear as the older, more famous one. The outing will pick up right from where the second one left audiences and, after delays, may drop sometime in late 2024 or early 2025.
On the other hand, alongside Argylle, Henry Cavill will also lay his hands on the reboot of the Highlander franchise. Thereafter, he will also star in a Warhammer 40K live-action. Furthermore, another spy action in the form of The Ministry of Ungentlemanly Warfare and The Rosie Project also adorn his resume.
