Meghan Markle, once just known for her role as Rachel Zane, was not exactly a household name. But her royal status somehow made Netflix jump at Suits last year, and just like that, the legal drama was back in the spotlight. Everyone binged on the drama of those sharp-suited lawyers and the show's streaming numbers went through the roof. This brought the legal drama back into the limelight and even sparked talks of a spinoff, Suits: L.A., all thanks to creator Aaron Korsh.

As the cast gets ready to reunite for yet another special event, fans are curious if Meghan Markle will be making an appearance with them as well. So, here is a breakdown of the facts.

After nearly fifteen years since its debut on the USA Network, Suits stars Patrick J. Adams and Sarah Rafferty are preparing to revisit the series in a new format- a podcast. However, unfortunately, Meghan Markle will not be joining her former castmates for this reunion, as per a report from Newsweek. Patrick J. Adams (Mike Ross), and Sarah Rafferty (Donna Paulsen), will lead a rewatch podcast series under the SiriusXM banner. According to Deadline, they aim to provide listeners with a detailed exploration of the beloved series.

Their conversations will involve dissecting each episode of the series and revealing never-before-heard behind-the-scenes tales from the show's production. Alongside them, there will be other cast members, crew, and fans of the show that enjoyed a successful nine-season run on the NBCUniversal Cable station. However, this is not the first Suits reunion that Meghan Markle will allegedly skip.

The Duchess of Sussex was also absent from the Suits reunion held during the Golden Globes. Meghan Markle's absence from the gathering allegedly puzzled both fans and fellow cast members. 

Meghan Markle, despite being invited to the event, was unable to join a Suits reunion at the Golden Globes 2024. A source speaking to Page Six alleged that the Duchess of Sussex was indeed invited but unfortunately had scheduling conflicts that kept her from attending the reunion. Meanwhile, Gina Torres, known for her role as Jessica Pearson in the US legal drama, revealed that the ex-castmates do not have the Duchess' number.

In an interview with Variety at the Golden Globes, when asked about inviting the former actress to the Golden Globes, Gina Torres said, "We don't have her number. We just don't so. She'll see. She'll watch". And now with another missed event, Markle is evidently signaling her non-participation in the celebration of Suits or her contributions to the world of acting.
