Netflix's prime and pristine, and thanks to its raging viewership ratings also, pride and prestige, Bridgerton, serving elite slow-burn Regency-era romance with all the bedazzle of family dramas and hierarchies fussing about their spotless names, would never be what it is today without Phoebe Dynevor. The star of the first season that was released back in 2020 poised a portrayal that consisted of all the softness of a flower's petal and the fire of a burning amber. However, the reality of the actress seems to be quite contrasting.

It seems that while Pheobe Dynevor may have dusted off the role of Daphne Bridgerton long ago, there are a few things she forgot to dust off, leading to an altercation with the police.

While the saying never meet your idols in real life has now gained a notorious meaning, in the case of Phoebe Dynevor, it was simply a series of missteps. The actress appeared on TODAY and revealed that she was stopped by the police, an encounter that is now caught on camera. However, she was in character at that time for her upcoming thriller spy extravaganza Inheritance, which required her to smoke and drink on the streets. The cops found the "I am in character" story hard to believe owing to one of the film's greatest assets: lack of extravagant filming equipment.

The upcoming movie starring Dynevor prides itself on being purely shot on an iPhone camera, adding the extra dynamic factor to the entire ordeal. While the filming technique makes the film standout, it also made the actress enough of a standout for the police to notice her and intervene. Fortunately, though, they were quickly able to confirm that she was in fact the actress behind the prim and proper Daphne Bridgerton.

Stepping in with a fresh concept, the movie is directed by Neil Burger, better known as the man behind Divergent and Sydney Sweeney's The Voyagers, and follows a girl who finds herself in an international conspiracy, all thanks to her father. The father in question is a retired spy, unleashing a domino reaction of unexpected events. Shot on an iPhone, the movie will be releasing in theaters on January 24, and hopefully the only thing police will be stopping Phoebe Dynevor for this time is her lethal acting prowess.
