Giancarlo Esposito, known for his nuanced portrayal of antagonistic characters, has been a popular choice for DC and Marvel fans. This demand from fans arose ever since they witnessed the American actor’s charm in Breaking Bad. The 65-year-old American actor has a robust resume on television and has, time and again, proved his capabilities as an actor. Despite being frequently suggested for various roles, the Do The Right Thing actor never appeared in a DC or Marvel movie.

The closest the actor has come to the fantasy world is with his portrayal of Stan Edgar in The Boys. However, he had very little screen time, which didn’t do justice to the masterful actor’s charismatic charm on the screen.

Another supervillain from the Batman franchise, Ra’s al Ghul, can also be a good role for the actor to play owing to the character’s moral ambiguity and twisted mentality. Lastly, he can play the character of Vandal Savage, who is a known figure to every DC fan.
