Bonkers Celebration: Here’s What Ryan Reynolds and Rob McElhenney Did Post Wrexham’s Massive Win!
“The first Tuesday in May” may be a normal day for a plethora of people out there, but it certainly was not for Ryan Reynolds, Rob McElhenney, and their Welsh football club! For them, it was a day of celebration. What would seem like an alcove of fan fiction a few years ago turned into reality when the Deadpool star, along with his partner Rob McElhenney and the Red Dragons, had a ‘Bonkers style’ celebration.
Well, the reason, if you may ask, is no mystery- The third oldest professional association of football teams won back promotion to the English National League, and both the stars saw their dream come true. While the men’s team can now play in the fourth tier, the women’s team did not lag behind as well. Following their final payoff victory, they can now play in the Genero Adran Premier.

And that was it! The Hollywood co-owners evidently could not hold their contentment anymore and celebrated this win-win by hopping on the top of an open bus along with the team attracting thousands of people to gather around the outer coast of the Racecourse Ground. Reynolds also shared a few footage on his Instagram handle. “What an unforgettable evening in Wrexham celebrating both @wrexham_afc and @wrexhamafcwomen gaining promotion and winning their leagues,” wrote the actor in the post’s caption.
Notably, what happened at the Racecourse ground after the whistle confirmed Wrexham’s win against Boreham Wood was no different.
