However, when Swift's beau and his brother, Travis Kelce and Jason Kelce decided to toss their movie picks into the ring, the latter could not resist awakening his investigative persona on The Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants, leaving Lively to step in and clear up some behind-the-scenes mysteries for all the die-hard fans.

After all that roast, Jason Kelce brought a fact-check session not even the hardcore fans could prompt.

Jason Kelce decided to give The Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants a whirl and on the latest episode of the New Heights podcast with Travis Kelce, he embraced his inner "investigative journalist," as Blake Lively likes to say. Despite finding the movie "interesting," what threw him off, though, was how those famous "pants" barely had anything to do with the actual plot. Lively took to her Instagram story in response, revealing the "pants" thing was tacked on after the book was written.

Lively shared that author Ann Brashares added “pants” because she was given the note to inculcate a “magical element”. The actor served a reminder that the timeline was one where Harry Potter was a big hit and the element of magic really magnetized the readers of youth books. So, the author pulled out “pants” as a fun prop to show off the wonderful magic of the sisterhood since “jeggings” did not have that ring to it, Lively joked.

While the Kelce movie nights have been a total treat for Blake Lively fans, it is a complete 180 from his original roast of what the movie could have been before hitting play.

Although Blake Lively and Taylor Swift typically make headlines for their sisterhood through thick and thin, lately, Jason Kelce fed some fodder to tabloids after an unexpected roast of The Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants. The Kelce brothers dished out fan movie recommendations for their New Heights film club during a recent podcast episode. However, when some of them landed on the iconic Lively movie, Kelce bolted, saying, “definitely not watching that one again.”

Travis Kelce was shocked to learn that he even watched the movie until his brother chimed in, admitting he had not and neither does he plan to! If that was not enough, Jason Kelce also prompted a full-on roast session for the flick, citing how the title has every element he finds disinteresting. However, now that he has given the Lively flick the shot it deserves, it is safe to say that with his swap suggestions, he may have spoken too soon.
