Lively shared a clip of Ferrera’s acceptance speech on her Instagram story with a caption that read, “Give this woman every stage, every statue, every microphone forever please”. The Barbie star was honored with the SeeHer Award at Sunday’s Critics Choice Awards.

Upon taking the stage, Ferrera delivered a heartfelt speech about the profound meaning of the SeeHer Award to her personally, considering her roots. Her words seemed to resonate with many women in the audience, including Brie Larson, who appeared emotional, and Taraji P. Henson, nodding along. And now from the Instagram story, it seemed like Blake Lively was also among those touched by the speech.

Ferrera, during her speech, gave a shout-out to her Barbie co-star Margot Robbie, praising her work on the film. She also commended director Greta Gerwig for empowering women and acknowledged the men involved in the blockbuster.
