And to leap back into her usual ways, the Gossip Girl alum recently took a break from all the business brainstorming she has been busy with since the launch of her new hair-care brand to attend the CFDA Fashion Awards 2024. While Lively is famous for leaving people around her star-struck with her charm, this time around, the tables turned when she was found gushing over the Hollywood icon, Cynthia Erivo.

Known for speaking her mind at all times, Lively took to her socials to share her moment of epiphany, having met Erivo face to face.

New York City recently lit up once again into a fashion holy grail with A-listers from the industry showing up at the 2024 CFDA Fashion Awards in the American Museum of Natural History on October 28. Whenever fashion calls, the couture royalty who never misses is Blake Lively. However, fashion may have been far from the biggest attraction for Lively, since she was busy singing the praises of Cynthia Erivo on her recent Instagram story like a superfan.

Lively re-shared a picture shared by Vogue Magazine in the carousel of their star-studded series from the night striking a pose with Erivo. “She’s even more stunning, gracious, magnetic, intelligent, and kind in person,” wrote Lively, citing how she is still in the recovery phase of the pinch-me moment. While the glee in her eyes did not say otherwise, it only added Erivo to the list of Lively’s girlfriends she never stopped cheerleading for.

Lively capitalized on the dreamy experience with all that she could and in the process, she also left a dreamy red-carpet footprint no one was in for.

Having previously turned the summer into a fashion season for herself, Blake Lively is now leaning on the fall lookbook to bring more closet inspiration. And at the CFDA Fashion Awards, which is practically the mecca of couture lovers, Lively swept many off their feet, and with good reason. The star arrived in a Michael Kors Collection white dress with a thigh-high slit to mark her return to the ceremony after a decade. 

Lively accessorized with diamonds and topped off the look with a white blazer draped over her shoulders. The Gossip Girl alum was a presenter at the ceremony and walked the red carpet with Kors again as they did back in 2014. Hence, while the ceremony brought a full circle moment in fashion, Lively had her own moment of fulfillment beyond fashion, thanks to Cynthia Erivo.
