Blake Lively’s Jaw Drops at Ryan Reynolds’ ‘Thirst Trap’ Laid by His BFF Hugh Jackman
There is nothing that fans of Ryan Reynolds and Blake Lively love more than seeing their playful banter on social media. The 'It' couple of Hollywood is known for roasting and trolling each other at every available opportunity. However, there are times when they also get real affectionate. Whether it is the Deadpool star sharing a grinning photo of himself snuggling up with Lively from the sets, or them making some rare red-carpet appearances, they have dropped many PDA-filled moments here and there.
Recently, Lively fell head over heels in love with her husband again, after Hugh Jackman shared a sizzling picture of Ryan Reynolds.

Hugh Jackman recently shared a picture of Ryan Reynolds on his Instagram. In the picture, the 47-year-old actor was seen wearing a singlet and flaunting his muscles while pointing at the camera. Jackman captioned the picture, saying, “You want me to put this away?” — Ryan Reynolds, co-star, mouth breather, a**hole”. As soon as Blake Lively caught sight of the picture, she could not help but comment, “My thirst has been trapped”.
Meanwhile, Reynolds seemed to have taken (fake) offense to the picture, saying, “This photo is from my private collection. How dare you?”. The highlight of the post was, however, not Reynolds, but the two purses that can be seen in the background. The purses matched the colors of Deadpool and Wolverine’s suits, red and yellow, which fans found hilarious and adorable at the same time. While Reynolds and Jackman are often seen feuding, Deadpool & Wolverine has actually brought the two closer than ever.
Ahead of the release of the 2024 movie, both Reynolds and Jackman have given insights into their bond that has grown on the sets of Deadpool & Wolverine.

Ryan Reynolds and Hugh Jackman have both helped each other in making their visions for their superhero characters come true. For Jackman, he always felt that his character, Wolverine, before the Shawn Levy-directed movie, was "written very sparsely”. However, it was Reynolds who cared about the Logan actor’s character as much as he did. In a June interview with Vanity Fair, Jackman shared how rejuvenating this entire experience was.
Reynolds, on the other hand, told Empire Magazine that during the writers’ strike, the Free Guy actor was improvising and was not satisfied with the outcome of one of the scenes. As he confided in Jackman about it, the 55-year-old instantly made arrangements to reshoot the scene. “I’ll never forget that,” said Reynolds. Considering such friendship, it is not hard to see why fans are so excited to see these stars’ chemistry on the screen with Deadpool & Wolverine.
