Blake Lively’s Continued Shenanigans Surprise Fans, This Time Ryan Reynolds Is in Center
Blake Lively is currently one of the most polarizing celebrities on the internet. The actress, once beloved for bringing the golden girl Serena van der Woodsen to life on Gossip Girl, her sweet family, heartwarming friendships, and quirky personality, is now being seen as a facade crafted by PR over the years. Amid the heated Blake Lively hate train, Ryan Reynolds now finds himself at the center of it all.
Ryan Reynolds has played a huge part in the drama that It Ends With Us is marred by. The Deadpool actor has moonlighted as a scriptwriter for some scenes in the romantic drama, which Lively herself had revealed at the New York premiere of the Colleen Hoover adaptation. However, Entertainment Tonight has just confirmed that Baldoni was in the dark about Ryan Reynolds’ involvement in the project until it was revealed on the red carpet. Blake Lively had confirmed to E! News that her husband had written the iconic rooftop scene in It Ends With Us.

Lively also revealed, "Nobody knows that". Even the screenwriter, Christy Hall, was caught off guard when asked about it at the same event. Hall pointed out the improvisation done in the rooftop scene, which she considered "the most difficult scene," and said she found the lines "cute". Apparently, it was Reynolds’ savior complex that had him step into his wife’s project, making sure her comeback did not fall flat.
Fans, however, are reading between the lines and slammed both Lively and Reynolds for sticking their noses where they did not belong.
Blake Lively and Ryan Reynolds have made their fans switch sides
Ever since the It Ends With Us alleged feud between Justin Baldoni and Blake Lively surfaced, the latter’s perception in the public eye has made a 180-degree shift. Fans have dug out old interviews of the actress, highlighting some questionable moments of Lively that no one had noticed before. Now, with Entertainment Tonight’s confirmation, fans have even more fuel to justify their newfound dislike for Blake Lively- and possibly Ryan Reynolds too.
Many fans, however, have thrown their support behind Blake Lively and questioned how Justin Baldoni could be out of the loop on the improvised scene, considering he was the director.

Neither Lively nor Baldoni have cleared the air on the matter, even though some other celebrities associated with the film or either party have spoken out. It is yet to be seen whether this hate train will knock Lively’s career for a loop, or if, as is often the case, fans will simply move on after fixating on it for a few days.
