Blake Lively Calls It a Summer of Fashion With ‘It Ends With Us’ Co-Star and Writer

Blake Lively left the Met Steps with Leighton Meester long ago, but being a victim to the ways of Serena van der Woodsen, the Gossip Girl alum has maintained the tabloids’ gossip with their eyes literally on her coattails. Although she is set to make the summer box office a fun time with It Ends With Us, for now, more than her cinematic retreat, fans have been preoccupied with engaging with her consecutive fashion flexes online. Recently, the actress turned heads once more with the movie's co-star and writer.

Of late, Lively has been on a streak to bring back the Serena-coded fashion moments. But her latest upload has many convinced that she is also leaning on the Blair Waldorf palette.

Blake Lively recently shared a carousel of photos on her Instagram, exuding a fairy-tale elegance reminiscent of Blair Waldorf alongside Isabela Ferrer and writer Colleen Hoover during their ongoing press tour for It Ends With Us. Although the first look of Lively from the movie had made fans eager for its imminent release, for now at least, they are equally absorbed in her summer lookbook as she brings the fashion Mecca to her news feed single-handedly.

The standout outfit featured Lively in a floral beaded bralette paired with a matching voluminous tulle skirt, topped with a jacket from her new favorite brand, Bode. Adding to her ensemble, Lively wore striking Louboutin stilettos adorned with diamond-like studs, notable for their history. These heels, originally part of Louboutin’s Spring/Summer 2017 collection and previously used on the set of A Simple Favor, were temporarily lent to Ferrer earlier in the press tour before Lively reclaimed them, showcasing them herself.

Blake Lively has lately been super active on Instagram, documenting her travels around the world for press tours and events. Known for her serious approach to fashion, these occasions have also showcased her timeless couture. Last month, she made waves with a nod to denim, sporting a double denim look and captioning the post with "It’s Britney B**ch". She dazzled in a sparkly Self-Portrait minidress paired elegantly with a floor-length Dries Van Noten denim jacket.

During a birthday dinner at the celebrity hotspot, Carbone in New York City, attended by It Ends With Us co-star Brandon Sklenar, Lively’s ensemble evoked memories of Britney Spears’ iconic 2001 American Music Awards appearance in a Kurt and Bart denim dress. A week before, Lively also sported floral-cut-out jeans from Valentino, fully embracing the denim trend. Hence, it appears Lively is on a personal mission to bring forth the summer of style as the season of love nears with It Ends With Us.
