However, Prue Leith was among the chosen ones who got a surprise visit from Reynolds and Lively on the sets of Great British Bake Off.

Prue Leith reveals the time she met Ryan Reynolds and Blake Lively

It seems like Ryan Reynolds and Blake Lively are huge fans of baking or at least have a nose for the activity. The Hollywood A-listers previously paid a surprise visit on the sets of Great British Bake Off. Prue Leith recently took a trip down memory lane, recalling the first time she came across the two. In an interview with E! News, Leith said, “Blake is absolutely nuts about—well they both are, they’re both very keen on Bake Off.”

She described the entire experience as rather funny since visitors are not usually allowed inside the tent. Leith admitted how she would not even let her own husband walk in while working. However, as soon as Reynolds and Lively, who coincidentally happened to be filming in the same building, walked in, everyone in the crew was stunned to react. Leith revealed that her co-workers took some time before they welcomed the couple with open arms.

The entire team of the Great British Bake Off was thrilled and stopped filming midway. Leith took some time off as she enjoyed a chat with the Hollywood stars. While the crossover was a treat to witness for the fans, it also stirred a rumor about Reynolds’s involvement in the series. 

When the Deadpool actor ignited Bake Off rumors with his surprise visit

Ryan Reynolds’s visit to the Great British Bake Off caused a stir on the internet. Shortly after the Deadpool star met the TV show judges, he shared the update on Twitter. Reynolds clicked outside the tent with judges Prue Leith and Paul Hollywood leaving the fans speculating about whether he would appear on the show. The internet was set ablaze after seeing the actor on the show.

Sharing an image, the actor penned, “Full and unconditional hug of pure serotonin.” Despite the fans’ heartwarming response to the post, the actor has no plans to star in the show. The Canadian actor will soon be reprising his role as the Merc With A Mouth in Deadpool 3 now that the protests have come to an end.
