Ever since Meghan Markle and Prince Harry took a step back as members of the royal family in January 2020 and settled in California, there have been persistent rumors about their potential divorce. Their decision to pursue projects and business opportunities in America has drawn significant criticism and scrutiny from both the media and the public. Furthermore, their interviews and memoir have been perceived by some as disrespectful towards the royal family and the British people.

Nonetheless, despite all of this, Prince Harry and Meghan Markle have consistently presented a front while refuting any claims of marital upheaval. Or are these mere distractions from the real issue at hand? A royal expert thinks so.

Meghan Markle is distancing herself from Prince Harry ‘one step at a time’

Could there be tension behind their seemingly happy relationship? A royal expert suggests that Meghan Markle might be gradually drifting apart from Prince Harry and his family. Angela Levin, a noted royal biographer, claims that she can sense a rift between the two. Subtle dots hinting at discord are notable. As shared by Levin in one of her interviews with Bella, reported via GeoTV News, she claimed that the Duchess of Sussex is “probably only cutting the chain a little at a time”. Her comments come close on the heels of Meghan Markle being recently spotted without her engagement ring, although it was quickly shrugged off.

She continued how Markle is not there to support the Prince that is like a “big sign” which further affirms the talks about their separation. This is not the first time the Royal biographer made such claims. Even before, she has hinted at how the Prince has changed significantly under the influence of the Suits actress. Not only this, she further went ahead saying how the Duchess will be nothing without the Royals. 

However, it’s important to highlight that there is currently no evidence supporting these claims. Additionally, neither Prince Harry nor Meghan Markle have directly responded to these allegations. The royal couple continues to stay busy with their daily pursuits and commitments, including a trip to Europe.

Brushing aside any noticeable signs of marital discord, The Duke and Duchess of Sussex are on their way to Düsseldorf, Germany. Prince Harry will commence the Invictus Games and Meghan Markle is all set to give an ironic speech on the same. The game is also a part of the couple’s business ventures as it comes with a Netflix documentary. Moreover, the couple’s visit marks their first visit to Europe together since the unfortunate passing of Queen Elizabeth II.

Again, brushing aside any allegations, the couple appears happy and glee at outings. In public appearances, they are often holding hands with smiles on their faces—conveying love and support for one another. The couple is desperately looking to improve their public outlook amidst flat deals with Netflix and Spotify. However, their approach does not sit well with royal experts.
