The Austrian hero was certainly one of the best action heroes of his time, and you know what? Yes! The Terminator is returning! Just not on his 1991 Harley-Davidson Fat Boys (He might as well.) Almost after four years of hiatus, the 75-year-old is back with his bankable action in Scott Waugh’s big-budget project, Breakout. The movie perhaps serves as a return to form for the actor as it will see him play the lead, Terry Reynolds. As per the synopsis, we will have the Commando star dodging jail wardens and chasing cars as he helps his stepson to escape imprisonment and the 25-year verdict to serve in a foreign country.

The 7 times Mr. Olympia winner is once again playing the tough, no-nonsense hero that audiences have come to know and love. And while he may be a bit older now, he still has the physicality and charisma that made him such a big star in the first place. Furthermore, scripted by Richard D’Ovidio based on a story he co-created with Nicole D’Ovidio and produced by Anton and Off The Piere Productions, the movie will reportedly make its debut before Schwarzenegger’s action-comedy series, FUBAR, which is set to premiere in May.
Meanwhile, here’s everything you need to know about his acting career.
Arnold Schwarzenegger: a brief acting timeline

Over the years, Schwarzenegger continued to star in action movies, but he also branched out into other genres. He starred in comedies like Twins and Kindergarten Cop, and he even tried his hand at drama with movies like Total Recall and True Lies. But no matter what type of movie he was in, the actor, who also tried his hands on production always brought his signature style to the role.
In recent years, Schwarzenegger has taken a bit of a break from acting. He served as the Governor of California from 2003 to 2011, and he has been focusing on his philanthropic efforts. And while he did star in a few more movies such as Terminator: Dark Fate as recently as 2019, Breakout will perhaps have him boasting his signature style again.
