Jennifer Aniston, the brilliant actress, an intelligent entrepreneur, and a wonderful friend, had a rough life before coming into Hollywood. The American diva did not have all the luxuries that she has now nor did she have the status that she enjoys currently. However, the one thing she had was her courage and never-ending faith in herself. These two qualities brought great opportunities to her and made her one of the highest-paid actresses in Hollywood.

But before having everything, even before Friends, she was to star in a Mark Jones project. The director had to fight for her and convince the producers to take Jennifer Aniston into the film.

Before getting her global break via the ’90s sitcom, the now 54-year-old actress starred in a comedy-horror flick, Leprechaun, in 1993. It was the director, Mark Jones’ efforts, that allowed the Cake actress to showcase her acting skills. Talking about why he thought Anniston was the best choice, Jones said there was something about her that struck him. But the producers wanted an actress with blonde hair, unlike Aniston’s, who had beautiful brown hair.

But as Yahoo Entertainment reported, Jones called The Switch actress and gave her the news. When the director told her they needed to change her hair, the actress refused to do so. However, Jones assured her they would not do that. Instead, he asked her to, “go to makeup, and you’re going to come on the set as you are.” He also assured Aniston that the producers would not shut it down because her hair was not blond.

Did it work? Well, we all know who was Tory Redding in the 1993 film. The production executives also loved her and praised her as well. She continued to showcase her “It factor” in the film and throughout her career as well. Jones wanted this specific actress because she had charisma and some kind of magic about her. Of course, he also believed in her acting skills as well. Therefore, he fought for her and the rest is history.

But what does the Quiet Kill think about Aniston’s professionalism?

The Horrible Bosses certainly impressed the American screenwriter-director with her professional ethics. He even believed Aniston stood out in the crowd and it showed in her performance in the film as well. Although everyone loved her, the movie did not receive positive reviews. Referring to that, Jones also admitted he tried talking to her. However, he failed to do so while expressing his wish to cast her in the sequel as well.

Nevertheless, she did not agree, and she even spoke about it in one of her interviews as well. While promoting her Murder Mystery 2 with Adam Sandler, the host asked her about the sequels, and Aniston said she was long done with Leprechaun. Well, apart from her forgotten sitcom, Molloy, Aniston also had this forgotten film under her credit.
