He further narrated that he saw Reg Park (the 1951 Mr. Universe champion) on Muscle and Fitness magazine’s cover and got “really inspired by his story.” Schwarzenegger also acknowledged that he wanted to have a career like Park and hence, immediately started following in his footsteps.

The Terminator actor notably started training for 5-6 hours a day at a local gym and “became a fanatic about it.” Moreover, they also talked about his mother’s initial reaction to it.
