Before James Gunn suggested rebooting the DC Universe, he faced a lot of backlash for axing Zack Snyder’s Justice League universe. The only reason fans did not like the idea was because they loved watching Henry Cavill, Ben Affleck, and other superheroes from DC Comics in an extended universe. However, after Gunn’s surprising revelation that none of the Justice League stars will reprise their respective roles, fans bashed Gal Gadot.

James Gunn, after officially discontinuing the Snyderverse, is moving forward with his own version of the DC Universe with his passion project, Superman: Legacy. When Gunn first announced the ending of the Snyderverse, fans started an online campaign to save it. However, Zack Snyder himself addressed fans’ demands of the Netflix takeover. Although fans accepted Cavill’s Superman and Affleck’s Batman exit, they still have this one question about Wonder Woman: “What did Gal Gadot do?”

Previously, the new DC boss, however, assured fans that not all the DCEU characters were to be canceled. But the Aquaman 2 trailer release sparked fans’ emotions of axing the Justice League stars. As soon as fans heard about the shocking news, they rushed in to express their anger. While being upset about Affleck’s Batman and Cavill’s Superman, fans bashed the Wonder Woman star.

While changing the outlook of their beloved DC Universe hurts a lot of fans, they shared their relief for not letting the Heart of Stones actress Wonder Woman. As rude as it might sound, fans claimed she was a “Bad Actress“. Some even went to the extent of how she acted so “poorly.”

Some of them explained in detail how she did not justify the DC Wonder Woman and made it even worse. A handful of fans also jokingly pointed out how she did nothing as Wonder Woman.

Despite this backlash, there is a group of fans who also did not approve of Snyder’s vision of the Justice League. On the other hand, a handful of fans loved the unique take on their beloved superheroes.
