Prince Harry and Meghan Markle fledged war against the Royal family as they dropped one big project after another. What could have become a heated back and forth, however, remained a case of constant attacking from one party while the other maintained a death grip on its stiff upper lip. The last straw being the Duke of Sussex’s Spare memoir where he detailed moments from his life that the ever so greedy fans themselves declared ‘TMI’. But despite wreaking havoc, Prince Harry has found an invitation to King Charles’ coronation.

Following the release of Spare and the backlash that came with it, Prince Harry, along with his wife, disappeared from the public eye for quite a while. The Royal family, however, remained silent on the accusations it face and the accusations one can assume it wanted to make. And the Windsors have come up with its sweet own sweet revenge plan. One that does not include them letting their mouths loose.

The chances of the Duke of Sussex attending the coronation had seemed thinner and thinner as the days went by. But at the end of the tunnel, he had an invitation waiting, and he grabbed it to go. While it is unclear what this means for Prince Harry as a social figure, for the Royal family, it means a guest from across the pond. The family will quite literally be showing the 38-year-old prince his age as they are arranging for him to sit “10 rows behind the senior royals,” according to former butler Paul Burrell on GB news.

Ironically, the seating plan has testified to Prince Harry’s standing in the Royal family. This, however, cannot be called a clap back considering how the Royal family is only following the rule book.

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle have more often than not spoken about how they were treated unfairly. It is unclear, however, if they believe it was Markle’s ethnicity or Prince Harry’s rank that resulted in their mistreatment. Whatever the case, maybe the seating arrangement cannot be added to their list of complaints.

The couple voluntarily gave up their positions as senior royals. The front-row seats are reserved for the senior royals who have been working around the clock to support the institution. And releasing a memoir and docuseries, albeit worth millions of dollars, does not qualify as supporting the institution. Moreover, the seats may just work in Prince Harry’s favor if he is looking for a quick exit.
